Productive Meeting with the President of the Energy Committee of the Romanian Senate

After a productive meeting with Mr. Loránt Antal, President of the Energy, Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Committee of the Romanian Senate, we are thankful for his invitation addressed to RPIA - Romanian Photovoltaic Industry Association to discuss on the challenges faced by renewable energy investors and the legislative changes needed.

We discussed on the 50-ha blockage, dual use of pastures, grid connection issues, other permitting challenges and the need to better correlate new legislative interventions with existing legislation.

We salute the initiative of the Energy, Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources Committee to work on a legislative package meant to address such challenges and the openness to involve the industry stakeholders in such process. A continuous dialogue between the industry and authorities is essential for improving the Romanian business environment.
